The discipline of consecration-knowing what kills your saturation.

Consecration made imperative through discipline creates saturation, saturation is a state of immense power out of which flows intense energy apt towards an assignment, making one distinct in their capacity and calling.

In the economic context, saturation is deemed a disadvantage or leads to intense competition. However, in matters of kingdom, saturation means to be filled with the full measure of grace and alignment making one capable for what God is calling them into.

“And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.”
‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

From the understanding we have built so far, we realize the level of training it requires to adhere to the disciplines to be of good use to the call of the Lord. After all being noticed in the life Elisha, he laid hold of the mantle of Elijah and he entered into the office of that great man, who called him forth as we studied to become his successor. But you see, Elisha did not know exactly when Elijah would be taken away, according to 2 Kings 2:9-11. The instruction given by Elijah then, was for Elisha to keep watch. He said if you see me as I am being taken from you (verse 10), this requires careful consideration of one’s walk and diligence.

In every journey Elijah took, Elisha kept up, from the journey from Gilgal, Bethel, Jericho to Jordan, he followed through. Now this was not a mere walk of following footsteps, but following after a journey of discipline in holiness and service. To attain the Spirit of Elijah, was not lightly. And this was not solely the Spirit of a man upon another, this was a Spirit enabled and impacted by God. Consider this Beloved for the Spirit of God to rest upon one comes many dimensions in accordance with Isaiah 11:2

“and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;”
‭‭Isaiah‬ 11‬:‭2‬ ‭ KJV‬‬

The many dimensions imparted by a Spirit takes diligence to be manifested. It takes knowing the nature of that Spirit and most especially knowing what can draw you out of that dimension or limit you from reaching those expressions of that Spirit. You cannot enter the depths of expression without observing the disciplines accompanied by that Spirit. This is where at times the worshippers of the dark world tend to advance even in evil, as they are more intentional in their way of exercising the disciplines that enhances their forces and powers in darkness. The more depth you have in the dealings of a Spirit, the more realms of spiritual intelligence are revealed unto you.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Consecration dear one, that leads to the outburst of the fullness of life and power in this kingdom, is molded through obedience and conformity to the image of Christ. His pattern, Spirit and life is the only means to get to that destination. As Paul describes in the verse above, God has revealed dimensions no eye has seen, nor ears heard by His Spirit. To say you are His, you must have His Spirit, to work and be effective for Him, you must have His Spirit. And He is Holy, thus He calls for separation from anything unclean or anything that causes you to miss the mark.

Beloved let no one fool you into thinking a surface level Christianity will lead into exploits. By not keeping up with divine ordinances, there were mighty men who fell to their destruction. As you journey with God, you are required to take His burden upon you, allow Him to mold you, agree with Him and be at peace follow His instructions and you will truly see the glorious destiny He has prepared for you (Job 22:21-23) . What are you being beckoned on to let go off? What deflates your saturation? Know it, and depart from it, receive grace to overcome it and walk in the discipline which ensures for higher levels of glory. Happy new month!
