Heeding by the Word takes an understanding of the compartments of his Word. When the Lord spoke through the prophets there was either the pronouncement of what He is about to do, a warning or a call to repentance , a decree or an instruction. Life without the proceeding word of God is vanity and pride. According to Ecclesiastes 12:13, sets forth the entire duty of man. To reverence God and keep His commandments. To live by our own strength is to set ourselves up for doom. Man lives a life to please himself when we live without understanding our duty. Your duty is to seek out the will of him that called you and to live accordingly.
Job 28:28 (KJV) And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom; and to depart from evil [is] understanding.
In this chapter of Job, he laments over seeking out wisdom and how prescious a resource it is. Most of all he shares the secret behind this prescious stone of wisdom:The fear of the Lord. If we can honor God by living by His precepts we have the upper hand in life. If we can abide by his Word , there is no greater revelation than this.
”Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD. Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house. Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.“
Haggai 1:7-10 KJV
In this verse, we see how the toil of man had come to nought. The Lord instructs the main reason behind this demise. Beloved many of us suffer from the consequences of circumstances we have little or no understanding of, but when the Word as light comes forth we can see the root cause of every situation. Why are you barren, why has life been tough, for every circumstance there is a root cause, either by disobedience of the precepts of God or ignorance or evil devices. But when light proceeds, we receive clearly what we ought to do. Good morning Beloved.
