The Leadings of God-the intro.

Background

‬‬“And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. So she called his name Moses, saying, “Because I drew him out of the water.” Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When God calls a man, His desire is not to merely prosper Him. Far than your lifting matters to God, your inner man is most relevant to Him. What does the call of God upon your life require, what does He desire to do with you, how is he leading you to that call? These are what we are tackling in this series, without further a due let’s dive into the Word.

What was so relevant concerning how God walked with patriarchs like Moses and what do we learn from his walk with God? How God leads us may differ, but what He desires to make of us determines how He leads us into His depths. From Moses’ call in Exodus 3, in His encounter with God, he was drawn to that point where God could unveil His plan for him. Moses’ story beginning from the book of Exodus, was prophetic right from the start. From Being drawn out of the water into being raised as one of the princes, fleeing after rescuing one of his people from ill-treatment, and rescuing the daughters of Reuel the priest of Middian from drawing water (Exodus 2). Meditating upon this chapter, you will recognize who God was calling Moses to be, a leader and a rescuer for the people of Israel. In Moses’ life, there was a disapproval of injustice, the events that turned out revealed this earnest desire to fight for the weak. We all have that desire God has placed in our hearts that drives us, however, if we are not trained and groomed by God, that desire might be stirred by contempt, hate, and corruption.

This is why in Exodus 3, as Moses encountered the Lord, He was required to take off His sandals. Beloved when God sought to use Moses for his plan, the beginning of his walk with God, was a call into holiness. Before God can usher you into His plan, you must conform to His ordinances and modus operandi. God’s instruction to Moses is as a result of who He is, Holy. This is emphasized by Paul in our scripture of study, also cited in Isaiah 52:11. Reading Isaiah 52:1-12, beloved of God you will come to understand, the redemption plan, the strategy, and the very purpose of God requires consecration and holiness as a lifestyle. The instruction during Moses’ encounter is also given to Joshua in the book of Joshua 5:13-15 in His encounter with the commander of the Lord’s army. Destiny fulfillment begins when we are subscribed to God’s way of life.

Our study this month is aimed at studying the life of Moses and Joshua, these are intertwined based on ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. ” We will discover the leadings of God in the lives of these individuals and unveil the revelations of their success in walking with God. May the Lord open the eyes of your understanding as you engage in His Word. Good morning Beloved.
