To live by the proceeding Word of God, it takes a specific kind of people. The God-kind who set their faces as a flint, who know their God and long to see Him reign. We begin our study by tuning into the consciousness of God.
John lived a strange life to many, but it was the God ordained life. According to Luke 1:15; for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.He lived out this prescription boldly because what mattered to him was that his life pleased the Lord, and that he obtained the mark of his calling. This generation is one many do not dare be different, we aim to please one another , we aim to do the latest trends and be the most updated. The original plan given to every individual takes the God consciousness of who you have been created to be, to live out. If you do not dance to melody of the God conscious factor, the world will create your rhythm and lead you astray.
The God conscious generation, is the generation whose very heart beat sounds by the desires of God. The ones who seek the Lord, to know his ways, and to establish his will upon the face of the earth. They have overcome the corrupted nature and broken the scales from the eyes to know the hope of their calling. It is the generation that dares break the limitations the god of this world has set on them. They know what they have been called to do and where they need to be. Jesus our measure of attainment, showed us the way walking with the consciousness of the will of the Father, He was not deterred by what was said about him, but increased more when the generation sought to determine what manner he ought live out the life God the Father had committed to him.
”This is the generation of them that seek him, That seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.“

The generation that comes to realization that we are not our own. Mathew Henry’s concise commentary puts it.We ourselves are not our own; our bodies, our souls, are not. A soul that knows and considers its own nature, and when it has viewed the earth and the fullness thereof, will not be satisfied and will think of ascending toward God.
Religion is of no use, if we do not make a heart-work of it. We have been cleansed from our sins, and renewed unto holiness, by the blood of Christ and the help of the Holy Ghost. Hence we become God’s people; and we receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of our salvation. We are God’s peculiar people to whom He gives righteousness, and His salvation.
